Three plots, one in Mazoyères. Quite full crimson purple colour. The bouquet is quite restrained, suggesting fruit beneath but not quite ready to deliver. Pepper again, and a savoury take on cherry. The fruit has enough volume to cover its acidity and wood tannins though. Drink from 2027-2035. Tasted: November 2023.
