93 POINTS - ROBERT PARKER
The 2016 Pouilly-Fuissé wafts from the glass with a honeyed bouquet of yellow orchard fruit, lemon oil, confit citrus and beeswax. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, mineral and tense, with considerable concentration and structural reserve, concluding with a long, saline finish. Its extended contact with new François Frères barrels is practically imperceptible, seemingly having contributed more to the wine's structure than its aromas and flavors. The parcel that produces this cuvée is located on the south slope of Fuissé, the vines running from the top to the bottom of the slope.
