The Winedoctor: I thought Oudan was impressive in the 2019 vintage, but this cuvée proves it is not an isolated success. The aromatic profile is stunning, the Gamay fruit coming across very dark, with flavours of black olive and roasted coffee bean. This is matched by a wonderful substance on the palate, which possesses richly grained and energetic substance. Poised, with a fabulous grip of ripe tannins at the end. This is really impressive, and it clearly has stunning potential. Well done. 94-96/100
